Once your opponent has fouled you and you are at the line, make your first shot as you normally would. When you get to your final free throw, shoot it normally as well. The millisecond after you let go of the ball, hit A and you will now have control of your center. Then hit Y and try to jump for the ball which is still in the air from your free throw. If you did this with perfect timing you will see that your center will actually ALLEY-OOP the ball, and the game will count that free throw as two points instead of one. This will always help when your team is down.
